Jeff’s practice focuses on complex business and commercial litigation, in the areas of contract disputes, corporate and partnership disputes, professional liability, employment,banking, securities, professional negligence, employment, environmental law, bankruptcy, real estate litigation, and general business litigation. While much of Jeff’s practice involves complex business disputes, he also represents many smaller, closely held businesses and their owners in a wide variety of matters. Jeff has been involved in a number of leading reported cases in the area of employment, business regulation, and defamation. In the areas of professional liability and negligence, Jeff regularly represents clients in accounting, legal and medical malpractice cases and represents professionals in connection with grievance and licensing proceedings. A former federal prosecutor, Jeff also handles matters involving government regulatory issues, trade regulation, health care, and environmental issues. Jeff also has handled many appeals in state and federal courts, including the Connecticut Appellate Court and Supreme Court and the Second and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jeff also serves as Town Attorney for his home town of Southbury, Connecticut and volunteers his time in support of environmental issues as a member of the Executive Board of Friends of the Lake, Inc.
